Brief Overview

The X1 by QuckDraw is a refined, compact vaporizer that heats quickly and vaporizes solid concentrates evenly and completely. The titanium heating element is housed within a deep chamber, allowing for simple loading and less mess. Small enough to be ultra-portable, yet tough enough to handle heavy use, the X1 is the perfect device for every lifestyle.

See User Guides below for full usage information.

Using Your X1

A: As with most pen vaporizers, the X1 is super easy to use. Refer to the full instructions located on the ‘User Guide’ tab, but here is a quick rundown on using the X1:

Charge the X1 – This could take a few hours the first time, but subsequent charges should not take longer than 46-60 minutes.

Load the X1 – This is easily done by removing the mouthpiece, and using the included key chain tool to apply your concentrates on top of the atomizer coil. Do not load too much, more than a sessions worth is definitely too much. Ensure the concentrate the making contact with the atomizer. Replace mouthpiece and apply silicone mouthpiece covers, if desired.

Power up and Draw – If the switch on the X1 is locked, unlock by pressing the button five times. This enables the power switch and the X1 is ready to use. Press the button and immediately begin drawing from the X1. Best practice is to keep the X1 as vertical as possible during use. Draw until you have had your fill, or the ten-second shut off turns the atomizer off.

Many owners find that taking one more draw through a cooling X1 (no power applied while drawing) keeps the air vents from clogging.

A: The X1 heats up instantly. With a powerful(for its size) 650mAh battery, the X1 heats up fast, and keeps heating long past other vaporizers of this size.
A: There are no temperature settings on the X1. It goes from room temperature to its peak temperature in one second.
A: First and foremost its vital that you use the cleanest and purest liquids and concentrates you can find. The X1 was designed for use with liquids and concentrates that melt cleanly and leave no particulate behind.

When particulate makes contact with the atomizer, it can overheat. That produces carbon buildup on your atomizer coil, and will degrade the lifespan of your cartridge exponentially.

Since the X1 has only one temperature setting, its pretty foolproof. Press the button, and draw until you have your fill or until the X1 shuts off automatically after 10 seconds.

Adjusting your draw rate can have an effect on vapor thickness; draw faster for thinner vapors, slower for thicker vapors.

A: The X1 was designed solely for liquids and concentrates. Do not put aromatic blends into atomizer included with the the X1. There are atomizers available for blends, please contact QuickDraw more information.
A: The charger is rated from 100v to 240v, but you might need an adapter for your outlet if outside North America.

A: The atomizer coil is nickel/aluminum-alloy, the wick is fiberglass, the crucible that surrounds the coil is ceramic, the body is made of steel and plastic. The mouthpieces are silicone.

A: Liquids and concentrates love high temperatures, so you should not have an overheating issue!
A: Is best to not fill the heating chamber full. Just apply enough for one session at a time. The X1 was not designed to hold more than one session at a time.
A: Occasionally through use, especially when drawing rapidly, the melted concentrate can ride of the sides of the crucible, preventing it from making contact with the atomizer coil. Using the unique included tool, you can ‘push’ the buildup on the sidewalls back down into the crucible for use. Use caution not to make contact with the atomizer, you could damage it very easily.
A: Yes, after ten seconds of use, the X1 will power off.

There is also a safety on the power switch, clicking it five times turns off the power button, and repeating this turns the button back on. This is great if you have the X1 in your purse, or pocket, as it prevents it from going off accidentally and wasting your battery or worse.

As a general safety rule, do not leave the X1 unattended while powered on.

A: The X1 Pen atomizers are not rebuildable, you can replace them very easily by disconnecting them from the battery, and replace with a fresh atomizer coil.

On average, atomizer coils last 4-5 weeks of normal use; your experience will vary.

A: There are no screens in the X1.
A: The battery is Elips – C
A: The X1 comes with an AC adapter/USB plug, rated from 100v to 240v. The USB plug can be used by itself in a powered USB port anywhere in the world, but if you are charging your X1 outside of North America with the included AC adapter an outlet/plug adapter might be needed.
A: When the X1 Battery is in need of a charge, the power button will flash 8 times when pressed.

At this time, connect the X1 Battery to the X1 Wired USB Charger (at the base of the X1 Battery). The X1 Wired USB Charger can be connected to either the G Wall Adapter or any compatible USB port. A red LED light will illuminate at the base of the battery to indicate that a charge is being administered.

Once the red LED light turns green, the X1 Battery has been fully charged.

Cleaning & Maintenance

A: Any concentrate that may have collected on the body of your X1 can be removed with a warm damp cloth.

If you need to remove essential oil from inside the crucible, you can do so using your X1 Tool. USE CAUTION and be extremely careful not to damage the atomizer coil.

Within the crucible of your X1 tank, the coil works to clean itself by burning off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the X1 tank, as doing so could cause it to malfunction.

A: On certain parts alcohol is fine. The top cap will incur the most buildup, soaking it in alcohol or cleaning with alcohol soaked cotton swab are effective cleaning methods.

Cleaning the atomizer is not recommended, replace as needed.

Make sure you don’t expose the atomizer or battery to any liquids whatsoever. If you need to clean the outside of the X1, use a warm damp cloth. If the X1 gets wet in any way, allow to dry in the sun or a warm dry area until COMPLETELY DRY. Attempting to use the X1 if wet will cause serious damage to the unit.

Getting the Most Out of Your X1

  • Drawing after the heater has cooled down will allow the air vents to stay free of blockage.
  • Never leave a X1 in a hot car. Ever.
  • While using the X1, try and keep it as vertical as possible to avoid potential leakage.
  • Allowing the X1 to freeze can damage the atomizer. Avoid temperatures below 40 degrees.
  • The X1 ships with two units. Load them both before you head out and be ready to vape when you’re on the go?
  • Use caution with the included G tool, as it could damage the atomizer coil if you aren’t careful.
  • Overloading more than one session’s worth of concentrate is a potential recipe for mess.

X1 Maintenance

Cleaning the X1 couldn’t be easier. If the atomizer coil has gotten too much buildup, replace it with a new one.

The inside of the mouthpiece will take on the most buildup, soak it in isopropyl alcohol and clean with a cottonswab.

If any concentrate has made it onto the body of the X1, wipe off with a warm damp cloth.

Need Assistance with your X1?

Try these Solutions to common issues:

A: A few things could be causing this. Is the 5-click safety lock in place? Try clicking your X1 button five times and see if anything happens.

Are you getting any light at all from the button? If not, make sure that its charged properly. This seems obvious, until you realize the power strip you were plugged into wasn’t turned on. Or…the USB port you were plugged into wasn’t actually a powered USB port. Or…there are many reasons to think your vaporizer is charging…when it isn’t. It happens all the time.

If you have charged it fully, and unlocked the power button, and are still getting no vapors, remove the mouthpiece, press the button, and see if the atomizer is at least getting warm?

If you have no activity from a fully charged X1, its possible that your atomizer has died. Try that atomizer on the other X1 that came in the package, and see if it works. If not, we have replacement cartridges available.

A: Make sure your X1 is fully charged, and the atomizer coil is fully seated and loaded properly(not overloaded).
A: The X1 was designed for liquids and concentrates only, so loading aromatic blends will result in undesired results. Do not load aromatic blends in coils designed for liquids. QuickDraw makes coils for blends, please contact them for more information.
A: This is a natural situation with the X1. There are two fresh air intake holes on the sides of the X1 atomizer cartridge. They are connected to small holes in the bottom of the crucible. When your solid concentrate melts, it may fill the holes located in the bottom of the crucible. When this liquid cools, it blocks the holes, so drawing is difficult.

This is easily remedied by heating up the X1 for a short time, blocking one of the two holes on the side of the cartridge(they are in the silver band) and drawing. If warm enough, this should clear on one side, then repeat on the other side.

As you continue to use the X1, be mindful of this blockage potential. One trick to prevent it from happening is to continue to draw through through the X1 once a minute as it is cooling. Once all the internals have cooled to room temperature, you can stop.
