Brief Overview

Vapolution 2.0 is the original glass on glass hands free vaporizer. The Vapolution uses no metal screens and no heated plastic, resulting in a purer and contaminant free vapor. Material requires no grinding and should be loaded directly into the straight glass stem. A temperature control dial manipulates the glass lined ceramic element, preheating material quickly in about 4 to 5 minutes. The Vapolution’s small size, car adapter, and optional batterymakes this device travel-friendly and fully portable.

See User Guides below for full usage information.

Using Your Vapolution

A: The Vapolution was designed from the start to be as simple as possible to use. This simplicity was a natural by-product of their desire to create a vaporizer with an all glass pathway.

Don’t Grind!
The Vapolution excels with a chunkier, hand broken blend. Finder grinds can work, but are hard to load and might get past the glass-indent screen.
Load Your Blends
Make sure to load the wand fully, but be mindful not to load too tightly. Loading fully will allow for denser, richer vapor quality, while overloading could lead to airpath restriction and overheating.
Insert Wand and Draw
Place the wand into the Vapolution, and begin to draw slowly. We recommend always starting with low temperatures and working your way up until you reach your sweet spot.

A: Vapolution actually recommends not grinding! The combination of convection and conduction makes sure you get every last bit of your blends to vaporize. Fine grind will work, but is harder to load and can get by the glass ‘screen’. Avoid anything finer than coarsely ground.
A: The Vapolution should heat up to temperature within two minutes.
A: Out of the box the Vapolution is designed to be powered by a 110V AC power adapter, or the 9v car adapter, both included with purchase.

It is also possible to use a battery pack to power the Vapolution on-the-go!

A: As there are no temperature indicators on the Vapoultion, learning and marking your ideal temperature points on the temperature knob is essential.

Remember, best practice is to always start with low temperatures, and work your way up gradually until you find your sweet spot.

A: There are many factors at play here, including grind consistency(are all the particles roughly the same size?), grind level(the Vapolution actually prefers as chunky as can fit in the wand), the moisture content of your blend, chamber fullness, etc.

Altering these variables will allow you to tailor the output of the Vapolution to your personal preference.

A: The Vapolution 2.0 was designed for aromatic blends only. Vapolution does offer an accessory for concentrates, so please contact them directly.
A: The Vapolution is currently designed for 110v and portable power use only.
A: From Vapolution:

“Our unit at the lowest setting will not produce vapor and will cause DEFINITE overheating at the maximum setting. Proper vaporization temperatures of most blends are in the area of 365F. Remember that there is a thermal exchange between the glass and the air. The air heated by the glass extracts the useable essential oils at a fraction of the glass heater surface temperature.”

Its always recommended to start with a temperature that is sure not to cause vaporization and work your way up from there. If at first you don’t get vapors, turn it up SLIGHTLY and wait 30 seconds, then try again. Repeat until you find your personal sweet spot.

A: The max temperature is undetermined, but per Vapolution’s warning, the maximum temperature is hot enough to DEFINITELY over-heat your blends.

A: The Vapolution is capable of very high amounts of heat. According to Vapolution, temperatures high enough to DEFINITELY cause over-heating.

Its always recommended to start with a temperature that is sure not to cause vaporization and work your way up from there. If at first you don’t get vapors, turn it up SLIGHTLY and wait 30 seconds, then try again. Repeat until you find your personal sweet spot.

A: As the Vapolution has only a manual analog dial, there is no way to convert the temperatures to Celsius.
A: The exterior shell is plastic, the heating chamber is glass-lined ceramics, and the interior insulation is vermiculite.
A: The Vapolution’s heating element is constructed of a resistance wire that is insulated by both ceramics on the outer areas, and glass on the inner heating chamber area.

The air never touches anything but glass and your blends.

A: It is absolutely possible yet definitely avoidable.

The best practice to ensure that nothing is ever over-heated, is simply to start with a low temperature, and gradually work your way up a few degrees at a time(giving the Vapolution 30 seconds to catch up after each adjustment) until you achieve your personal sweet spot.

A: Loading the heating chamber full is fine as long as you don’t fill it too tightly. Loading too tightly will restrict airflow, and can contribute to accidental overheating.
A: The combination of conduction and convection is so efficient that stirring the blend in the wand is not required.
A: Nope, but you could most definitely purchase a timer for the power cord. Vapolution says that 2.0 can be left on for 8 hours at a time, but does not recommend longer.

As a general safety rule, do not leave the Vaporizer unattended and powered on.

A: Vapolution has created a design that alleviates the need for metal screens. There is a small indentation in the wand that acts as a de facto screen. It may seem odd at first, but after one use it will make more sense. Most Vapolution owners prefer this method over traditional screens.

The lack of a traditional screen was also required to ensure an all glass vapor path potential.

A: The unit draws approximately 1A when plugged into the wall or the car battery.

Cleaning & Maintenance

A: The Vapolution was designed with ease of use in mind, and that extends to cleaning the unit.

Always unplug the vaporizer from the electrical outlet and allow to cool COMPLETELY before cleaning, 30 minutes should be sufficient.

Always make sure your vaporizer is COMPLETELY dry before plugging it back in.

Do not attempt any internal or external repairs to your unit as doing so may cause fatal injury – or worse – void your warranty! (Please contact us if you feel something is wrong with your vaporizer.)

If you need to clean the unit itself, wipe down with a warm damp cloth. The glass is easily cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a soft flexible brush for stubborn buildup. The hose can be soaked in warm soapy water until all buildup is dislodged.

More cleaning information is available on the ‘Cleaning’ tab.

A: Inspect your Vapolution periodically, paying special attention to anything that might have accidentally fallen inside. The wand and hose(if used) will experience the majority of the build-up. Clean as instructed on the ‘Cleaning’ tab.
A: It’s okay on the glass only. To clean the hose, please flush or soak with warm soapy water. Seal the ends with your fingers, and shake vigorously, or manipulate while submerged to dislodge any buildup. Repeat as needed. To clean the Vapolution itself, use a lightly damp, warm cloth to clean the outside.
A: The wand and the whip should take all of the buildup. Make sure no debris falls into the Vapolution.
A: Many elements of the Vapolution are replaceable and also upgradeable. If you need something for your Vapolution, take a look at our Vapolution accessories.
A: A soft brush or a chenille stick combined with isopropyl alcohol will be sufficient for the glass parts, and a warm damp cloth for the unit. Never clean the Vapolution or any aspect of it until it has been unplugged and completely cooled down, and never bring it near liquids or vice versa.
A: The Vapolution is a long-term investment. Protect it with a soft-sided or hard-sided case.

Getting the Most Out of Your Vapolution

  • Do not grind your blends for use in the Vapolution. The combination of conduction and convection ensure that you will extract everything you need out of your blends, so chunky blends do just fine. There is no traditional metal screen, so keep the fine grind away.
  • If any debris falls into the heating chamber, remove it immediately. If the heating chamber needs to be cleaned, unplug the unit and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Varying your draw rate has a substantial effect on vapor density. try different draw speeds and see the difference.

Maintenance

Keeping your Vapolution clean is the best way to ensure its peak performance.

  • The wand and hose(if used) will take most of the buildup. Soaking in isopropyl alcohol will clean the glass perfectly and to clean the hose, soak in warm soapy water and manipulate the hose if needed to dislodge any stubborn buildup. Rinse twice and allow to air dry before use. Replace hose as needed.
  • The Vapolution body can be cleaned with a warm damp cloth. Always unplug the Vapolution before cleaning, and allow it to cool down. Never bring liquids near the Vapolution.
  • Emptying the wand immediately after use will cut down on the buildup you experience.

Need Assistance with your Vapolution?

Try these Solutions to common issues:

A: Make sure that the Vapolution is plugged in to either a wall outlet, car adapter, or external fully charged battery.
A: Is the temperature you set high enough for the particular blend you are using? With the plug connected and Vapolution powered on, and heated, do you feel warmth coming off the Vapolution? If so turn up the temperatures incrementally until proper vaporization is achieved.

If you are using external battery power, unplug, and ensure the battery is fully charged. Try using the included AC power cord to determine the issue. If it works and the battery does not, charge the battery.

If the power seems to be working correctly, but you cannot under any circumstances get vapors to appear, please contact us.

A: This is entirely possible, as the Vapolution is capable of temperatures well in excess of vaporization. Best practice is to start with lower temperatures, and working your way up gradually until you find your sweet spot.
