Brief Overview

The M1 offers everything you love about the QuickDraw series in one convenient package. Whether you’re vaping solid concentrates or liquids, the M1 has an attachment for all. The M1 includes a Glass Dome, Coil-Style Atomizer, and Liquid Cartridge attachments.

See ‘User Guides’ tab below for full usage information.

Using Your M1

A: As with most pen vaporizers, the M1 is super easy to use regardless of the attachment you are using. Refer to the full instructions located on the ‘User Guide’ tab, but here is a quick rundown on using the M1:

Charge the M1 – This could take a few hours the first time, but subsequent charges should not take longer than 45-60 minutes.

Load the M1 –
Globe/Crucible Loading: Loading the crucible is easily done by removing the mouthpiece/globe combo, and using the included tool to apply your concentrates on top of the atomizer coil. Do not load too much, more than a sessions worth is definitely too much. Ensure the concentrate the making contact with the atomizer before you replace the mouthpiece. Make sure not to touch the coil with the tool to avoid potential damage.

Cartridge Loading: Unscrew and remove the top mouthpiece. Fill the cartridge to the 1.6ml mark. Avoid putting liquid into the small center hole. Once full, replace mouthpiece securely.

Chamber Loading: Remove the mouthpiece top(which consists of the silicone mouthpiece and metal top cap) and place glass filter(optional) over heating coil. Apply a small single session amount of blend on top of the glass filter. Replace mouthpiece.

Power up and draw – If the switch on the M1 is locked, unlock by pressing the button five times. This enables the power switch and the M1 is ready to use. Press the button and immediately begin drawing from the M1. Draw until you have had your fill, or the ten-second shut off turns the atomizer off.

A: Regardless of method used, the M1 heats up instantly. With a powerful 390mAh Li-Ion battery, the M1 is ready when you are.
A: There are no temperature settings on the M1. It goes from room temperature to its peak temperature in just one second.
A: First and foremost its vital that you use the cleanest and purest liquids and concentrates you can find. Two of the attachments included with the M1 were designed for use with liquids, or concentrates that melt cleanly and leave no particulate behind. (The third was designed for aromatic blends.)

When this unwanted particulate makes contact with the atomizer, it can overheat. That produces carbon buildup on your atomizer coil, and will degrade the lifespan of your cartridge exponentially.

Since the M1 has only one temperature setting, its essentially foolproof. Press the button, and draw until you have your fill or until the M1 shuts off automatically after 10 seconds.

A: The M1 was designed to be used with nearly any format; liquids, solid concentrates and aromatic blends. It ships with a crucible/atomizer for solid concentrates, one for liquids, and one for aromatic blends.

Do not put aromatic blends into the atomizers designed for liquids.

A: The charger is rated from 100v to 240v, but you might need an adapter for your outlet if outside North America. USB option is always available, negating the need for AC adapters, regardless of your location.

A: The atomizer coil is nickel/aluminum-alloy, the wick is fiberglass, the crucible that surrounds the coil is ceramic, the body is made of steel.
A: Nichrome. Nichrome is a non-magnetic alloy of nickel, chromium, and often iron, usually used as a resistance wire in applications from atomizer coils to toasters and beyond.
A: Liquids and concentrates love high temperatures, so you should not have an overheating issue!

However…

The aromatic blend attachment may heat aromatic blends to the point of combustion. Please call a representative for more information.

A: Is best to not fill the heating chamber full. Just apply enough for one session at a time. The M1 was not designed to hold more than one session at a time.
A: Yes, after ten seconds of use, the M1 will power off.

There is also a safety on the power switch, clicking it five times turns off the power button, and repeating this turns the button back on. This is great if you have the M1 in your purse, or pocket, as it prevents it from going off accidentally and wasting your battery or worse.

As a general safety rule, do not leave the M1 unattended while powered on.

A: There are no screens in the M1.
A: The battery is a 420mAh barrel eGo ‘style’ battery. It has 510, and eGo threads.
A: The M1 comes with an AC adapter/USB plug, rated from 100v to 240v. The USB plug can be used by itself in a powered USB port anywhere in the world, but if you are charging your M1 outside of North America with the included AC adapter an outlet/plug adapter might be needed.
A: When the M1 Battery is in need of a charge, the power button will flash 3 times when pressed.

At this time, connect the M1 Battery to the M1 Wired USB Charger (at the top of the M1 Battery). The M1 Wired USB Charger can be connected to either the Wall Adapter or any compatible USB port. A red LED light will illuminate at the base of the battery to indicate that a charge is being administered.

Once the red LED light turns green, the M1 Battery has been fully charged.

A: According to QuickDraw, allow 3-4 hours charging time for the first 3-4 cycles. Then, it should only take about one hour to charge, depending on your charging source.

Cleaning & Maintenance

A: Any concentrate that may have collected on the body of your M1 can be removed with a warm damp cloth.

If you need to remove essential oil from inside the crucible in the glass globe attachment, it’s not advisable, but you can do so using your M1 Tool. USE CAUTION and be extremely careful not to touch damage the atomizer coil.

Within the crucible of your M1 glass globe tank, the coil works to clean itself by burning off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the M1 tank, as doing so could cause it to malfunction.

The glass globe and mouthpiece can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol until the buildup dissolves. Do not clean the rubber or silicone o-rings with alcohol, as it could damage the rubber. Use warm soap and water to soak until clean. Agitate occasionally while soaking for stubborn buildup.

It is recommended to replace atomizers occasionally. Atomizers don’t last forever.

We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the M1 coil, as doing so could cause it to malfunction. If you need to remove concentrate from the tank, you can do so using your M1 Tool, but we suggest avoiding putting any metal near the atomizer.

The glass globe and mouthpiece, however, will take on a substantial amount of buildup. Monitor and clean as needed. Check your vape each time you use it, it will talk to you and tell you how often it needs to be cleaned.

A: On certain parts alcohol is fine. The top cap will incur the most buildup, soaking it in alcohol or cleaning with alcohol soaked cotton swab are effective cleaning methods.

Cleaning the atomizer is not recommended, replace as needed.

Make sure you don’t expose the atomizer or battery to any liquids whatsoever. If you need to clean the outside of the M1, use a warm damp cloth. If the M1 gets wet in any way, allow to dry in the sun or a warm dry area until COMPLETELY DRY. Attempting to use the M1 if wet will cause serious damage to the unit.

A: The atomizer should be replaced as needed on the M1. Over time even the purest concentrates will allow buildup to collect on the Atomizer coil; removing this with a tool will damage the coil.

Getting the Most Out of Your M1

  • Drawing after the heater has cooled down will allow the air vents to stay free of blockage.
  • Never leave a M1 in a hot car. Ever.
  • Allowing the M1 to freeze can damage the atomizer. Avoid temperatures below 40 degrees.
  • Use caution with the included tool, as it could damage the atomizer coil if you aren’t careful.
  • Overloading more than one session’s worth of concentrate is a potential recipe for mess.

Need Assistance with your M1?

Try these Solutions to common issues:

A: A few things could be causing this. Is the 5-click safety lock in place? Try clicking your M1 button five times and see if anything happens.

Are you getting any light at all from the button? If not, make sure that its charged properly. This seems obvious, until you realize the power strip you were plugged into wasn’t turned on. Or…the USB port you were plugged into wasn’t actually a powered USB port. Or…there are many reasons to think your vaporizer is charging…when it isn’t. It happens all the time.

If you have charged it fully, and unlocked the power button, and are still getting no vapors, remove the mouthpiece, press the button, and see if the atomizer is at least getting warm?

If you have no activity from a fully charged M1, its possible that your atomizer has died. Try that atomizer on the other M1 that came in the package, and see if it works. If not, we have replacement cartridges available.

A: Make sure your M1 is fully charged, and the atomizer coil is fully seated and loaded properly(not overloaded).
A: The M1 was designed for liquids and concentrates only, so loading aromatic blends will result in undesired results. Do not load aromatic blends in coils designed for liquids. QuickDraw makes coils for blends, please contact them for more information.
A: This is a natural situation with the M1. There are two fresh air intake holes on the sides of the M1 atomizer cartridge. They are connected to small holes in the bottom of the crucible. When your solid concentrate melts, it may fill the holes located in the bottom of the crucible. When this liquid cools, it blocks the holes, so drawing is difficult.

This is easily remedied by heating up the M1 for a short time, blocking one of the two holes on the side of the cartridge(they are in the silver band) and drawing. If warm enough, this should clear on one side, then repeat on the other side.

As you continue to use the M1, be mindful of this blockage potential. One trick to prevent it from happening is to continue to draw through through the M1 once a minute as it is cooling. Once all the internals have cooled to room temperature, you can stop.

If these troubleshooting tips don’t work, please contact us.
