Getting the Most Out of Your Flytlab Lift
- Always allow your Lift to fully preheat before use.
- Do not load your blends too tightly in the stem, this will restrict airflow
Lift does not flow freely through the vaporizer, many compare the experience to drinking a shake out of a straw. Don’t try to force it, learn what the Lift can provide, and adjust your draw accordingly.
- Avoid completely depleting the battery before recharging.
- Do not load your blends to lightly, they may fall out of the stem and make contact with the crucible; this will accelerate your next Lift Cleaning.
- If you aren’t getting exactly the vapor quality you are after, look at adjusting any and/or all of the following variables until you find your sweet spot.
- The draw on the Lift is not fast. Slow down your own draw until you match that of the Lift, this will increase your enjoyment immensely. Slow and steady is the key to Lift success.
Grind Consistency – are the ground-up particles all roughly the same size?
Grind level – the Lift prefers a medium grind, but experiment with finer or coarser grinds to see if it achieves the result you are after.
Amount Used – Some vaporizers thrive when loaded fully. Others, not so much.
Draw Rate – Convection vaporizers with good airflow can have their temperatures altered by the speed at which you draw a breath. As the air passes over the heating element, obviously it heats up. If you draw fast, causing the air to move quickly over the heating element, it only has “X” amount of time to heat up. However if you draw slowly, the air has much more time to heat up, and therefore will deliver a much warmer air to your blends.
Drawing fast = cooler temps;
Drawing slow = warmer temps.

Try these Solutions to common issues:
A consistent grind (all ground particles are of roughly the same size)
A medium-level grind, as opposed to a fine grind. Think freshly cracked pepper, vs finely ground pepper. It is recommended to break your blends up by hand. Most grinders will create too fine a grind for the Lift.
A full heating chamber, but not loaded tightly. Don’t fill it past the brim, and then lightly tamp it down to be level.
Vary your draw rate: it’s possible you are inhaling too hard or too fast. Slow down a bit, and see if the vapor qualities change.

FLYTLAB Warranty Policy
FLYTLAB 10 Year Ltd. Warranty Information
FLYTLAB, Inc. warrants FLYTLAB against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ten (10) years from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a physical defect arises and a claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, FLYTLAB will either (a.) Repair the product defect, (b.) Exchange the product with a one of the same model or provide a functionally equivalent product if that model is no longer available.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to normal performance degradation of batteries, Water Chamber, Air Chamber, Cartridges pieces or neglecting to adhere to cleaning instructions. FLYTLAB Warranty is only serviceable in the US & Canada, as FLYTLAB is only available for purchase in the US & Canada at this time.
Exclusions and Limitations
The Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by FLYTLAB, Inc. that can be identified by the “FLYTLAB” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them and purchased at an authorized retailer, serviced by an authorized FLYTLAB distributor.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-FLYTLAB products.
This warranty does not apply to (a) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, natural disasters, acts of robbery, or other external causes; (b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended use as described by FLYTLAB; (c) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; (d) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic.
Important: Warranty applies to original end-user purchaser only and is non-transferable. Warranty does not apply should you purchase through a 3rd party reseller such as eBay Amazon or Craigslist. FLYTLAB warranties only apply to devices purchased at any authorized retailer serviced by an authorized FLYTLAB distributor. Please carefully research the product you are interested in prior to purchasing. Refunds are only available for new and unused devices purchased on FLYTLAB.com. If the box is opened a refund cannot be given. Refunds for devices purchased through an authorized FLYTLAB retailer, must be processed at the place of purchase.
To obtain remedies under this Warranty, FLYTLAB must receive Consumer’s claim before the end of the Warranty Period. Consumer must obtain a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) from FLYTLAB and return the defective Device together with proof of purchase to the address specified by FLYTLAB in connection with the RMA. Consumer shall bear the cost of shipping the Device to FLYTLAB. By sending the Device, Consumer agrees to transfer ownership to FLYTLAB for the purpose of repairing or replacing the unit. FLYTLAB may not return the original Device to Consumer. FLYTLAB warrants that any repaired or replaced Device is covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. If the claim is justified based on this Warranty, FLYTLAB shall bear the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement Device to the Consumer. Any product returned to FLYTLAB without a valid warranty claim or without a RMA may be rejected, returned at sender’s cost (subject to prepayment) or disposed of at FLYTLAB’s sole discretion.
