Brief Overview

The Cloud Pen 2.0 by California based Cloud Penz is designed for use with solid concentrates. This sleek, discreet vaporizer is easy to load, fits in your pocket, and heats at the push of a button for instant vapor on-the-go.

See User Guides below for full usage information.

Using Your Cloud

A: As with most pen vaporizers, the Cloud is super easy to use. Refer to the full instructions located on the ‘User Guide’ tab, but here is a quick rundown on using the Cloud:

Charge the Cloud – This could take a few hours the first time, but subsequent charges should not take longer than 46-60 minutes.

Load the Cloud – This is easily done by removing the mouthpiece, and using the included tool to apply your concentrates on top of the atomizer coil. Do not load too much, more than a sessions worth is definitely too much. Ensure the concentrate the making contact with the atomizer before you replace the mouthpiece.

Power up and Draw – If the switch on the Cloud is locked, unlock by pressing the button five times. This enables the power switch and the Cloud is ready to use. Press the button and immediately begin drawing from the Cloud. Draw until you have had your fill, or the ten-second shut off turns the atomizer off.

NOTE:Many owners find that taking one more draw through a cooling Cloud (no power applied while drawing) keeps the air vents from clogging.

A: The Cloud heats up instantly. With a powerful 350mAh battery, the Cloud heats up fast, and keeps heating long past other vaporizers of this size.
A: There are no temperature settings on the Cloud. It goes from room temperature to its peak temperature in one second.
A: First and foremost its vital that you use the cleanest and purest liquids and concentrates you can find. The Cloud was designed for use with liquids and concentrates that melt cleanly and leave no particulate behind.

When particulate makes contact with the atomizer, it can overheat. That produces carbon buildup on your atomizer coil, and will degrade the lifespan of your cartridge exponentially.

Since the Cloud has only one temperature setting, its essentially foolproof. Press the button, and draw until you have your fill or until the Cloud shuts off automatically after 10 seconds.

A: The Cloud was designed solely for liquids and concentrates. Do not put aromatic blends into atomizer included with the the Cloud.
A: The charger is rated from 100v to 240v, but you might need an adapter for your outlet if outside North America. USB charging is another option, regardless of location.

A: The atomizer coil is titanium, the wick is fiberglass, the crucible that surrounds the coil is ceramic, the body is made of steel.
A: Titanium.
A: Liquids and concentrates love high temperatures, so you should not have an overheating issue!
A: It’s best to not fill the heating chamber/crucible full. Just apply enough for one session at a time. The Cloud was not designed to hold more than one session at a time.
A: Never, you could damage the atomizer very easily. The only thing that should ever enter the crucible is the concentrate.
A: Yes, after 15 seconds of use, the Cloud will power off.

There is also a safety on the power switch, clicking it five times turns off the power button, and repeating this turns the button back on. This is great if you have the Cloud in your purse, or pocket, as it prevents it from going off accidentally and wasting your battery or worse.

As a general safety rule, do not leave the Cloud unattended while powered on.

A: The Cloud 2.0 Pen atomizers are not rebuildable, so you can also replace them very easily by disconnecting them from the battery, and replace with a fresh atomizer/tank.

Atomizers will last 4-5 weeks with normal use. Your experience will vary.

A: There are no screens in the Cloud.
A: The battery is Elips – C
A: The Cloud comes with an AC adapter/USB plug, rated from 100v to 240v. The USB plug can be used by itself in a powered USB port anywhere in the world, but if you are charging your Cloud outside of North America with the included AC adapter an outlet/plug adapter might be needed.
A: When the Cloud Battery is in need of a charge, the power button will flash 8 times when pressed.

At this time, connect the Cloud Battery to the Cloud Wired USB Charger (at the base of the Cloud Battery). The Cloud Wired USB Charger can be connected to either the G Wall Adapter or any compatible USB port. A red LED light will illuminate at the base of the battery to indicate that a charge is being administered.

Once the red LED light turns green, the Cloud Battery has been fully charged.

Cleaning & Maintenance

A: Any concentrate that may have collected on the body of your Cloud can be removed with a warm damp cloth.

If you need to remove essential oil from inside the tank, you can do so using your Cloud Tool. USE CAUTION and be extremely careful not to damage the atomizer coil.

Within the crucible of your Cloud tank, the coil works to clean itself by burning off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the Cloud tank, as doing so could cause it to malfunction.

The mouthpiece and the area where the mouthpiece meets the body will collect most of the buildup, but can be easily cleaned by soaking in isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs if needed to scrub stubborn areas.

A: On certain parts alcohol is fine. The top cap will incur the most buildup, soaking it in alcohol or cleaning with alcohol soaked cotton swab are effective cleaning methods.

Cleaning the atomizer is not recommended, replace as needed.

Make sure you don’t expose the atomizer or battery to any liquids whatsoever. If you need to clean the outside of the Cloud, use a warm damp cloth. If the Cloud gets wet in any way, allow to dry in the sun or a warm dry area until COMPLETELY DRY. Attempting to use the Cloud if wet will cause serious damage to the unit.

A: The fresh atomizer should be replaced as needed on the Cloud. Over time even the purest concentrates will allow buildup to collect on the Atomizer coil; removing this with a tool will damage the coil.

Atomizers will last 4-5 weeks with normal use. Your experience will vary.

Getting the Most Out of Your Cloud

  • Drawing after the heater has cooled down will allow the air vents to stay free of blockage.
  • Never leave a Cloud in a hot car. Ever.
  • Allowing the Cloud to freeze can damage the atomizer. Avoid temperatures below 40 degrees.
  • The Cloud ships with two units. Load them both before you head out and be ready to vape when you’re on the go?
  • Use caution with the included G tool, as it could damage the atomizer coil if you aren’t careful.
  • Overloading more than one session’s worth of concentrate is a potential recipe for mess.

Cloud Maintenance

Cleaning the Cloud couldn’t be easier. If the atomizer coil has gotten too much buildup, replace it with a new one.

The inside of the mouthpiece will take on the most buildup, soak it in isopropyl alcohol and clean with a cotton swab.

If any concentrate has made it onto the body of the Cloud, wipe off with a warm damp cloth.

Need Assistance with your Cloud?

Try these Solutions to common issues:

A: A few things could be causing this. Is the 5-click safety lock in place? Try clicking your Cloud button five times and see if anything happens.

Are you getting any light at all from the button? If not, make sure that its charged properly. This seems obvious, until you realize the power strip you were plugged into wasn’t turned on. Or…the USB port you were plugged into wasn’t actually a powered USB port. Or…there are many reasons to think your vaporizer is charging…when it isn’t. It happens all the time.

If you have charged it fully, and unlocked the power button, and are still getting no vapors, remove the mouthpiece, press the button, and see if the atomizer is at least getting warm?

If you have no activity from a fully charged Cloud, its possible that your atomizer has died. Try that atomizer on the other Cloud that came in the package, and see if it works. If not, we have replacement cartridges available if needed.

A: Make sure your Cloud is fully charged, and the atomizer coil is fully seated and loaded properly(not overloaded).
A: The Cloud was designed for liquids and concentrates only, so loading aromatic blends will result in undesired results. Do not load aromatic blends in coils designed for liquids.
A: This is a natural situation with the Cloud. There are two fresh air intake holes on the sides of the Cloud atomizer cartridge. They are connected to small holes in the bottom of the crucible. When your solid concentrate melts, it may fill the holes located in the bottom of the crucible. When this liquid cools, it blocks the holes, so drawing is difficult.

This is easily remedied by heating up the Cloud for a short time, blocking one of the two holes on the side of the cartridge(they are in the silver band) and drawing. If warm enough, this should clear on one side, then repeat on the other side.

As you continue to use the Cloud, be mindful of this blockage potential. One trick to prevent it from happening is to continue to draw through through the Cloud once a minute as it is cooling. Once all the internals have cooled to room temperature, you can stop.
